”Cool cabin, beautiful views. Everything was as expected aside from the basement was redone (which was nicer than photos) but the pool table was no longer there. They had some shuffle board weird pool table. Like others we had an issue getting the door unlocked but the key box was easy to use. I wouldn’t let these small issues deter from your stay, overall great place, great host. ”

”Front desk guy was nice. Room was not clean enough and was in bad shape. Weird smell when we entered, which we later found out was an uncleaned microwave that was SUPER greasy to the touch. I travel with disinfecting wipes, so was able to resolve myself. Mirror in bathroom had obviously not been cleaned (splatters all over it). Bed was comfortable. Pillows were fine. ”Hot tub didn’t work so we basically had a bubble free bath. Ask housekeeping to Not service room of 2 night stay. They went into room anyway when we were gone. Morning of check out, housekeeping came into room without knocking, even though we had sign on door that we weren’t ready, nor had we checked out yet. They almost caught me changing my clothes. No apology just shut door and went about their business on the next room.”

”There were a lot of food choices very close to the hotel. The hotel also had a free breakfast as well as an evening meal. The Florence Mall was close, it had some decent stores but unfortunately it appears to have fallen on some hard times as there were a number of vacant properties in the mall. The staff were extremely helpful, when we checked in the desk attendant provide information on everything available in the hotel without prompting. I found that helpful. ”I reserved a king room with a whirlpool tub and that's what I got. I absolutely enjoyed my weekend getaway. The room was clean save for a few long hairs on a pillow but luckily I always bring my own. And the jets could've been cleaned more thoroughly but I brought my own lysol wipes for that purpose. The room never did get ice cold but it was in direct sunlight and all it took was one hot shower to take all the cool away.
