”We chose this location as part of our 6 day road trip from Welling to Auckland. It is in a pleasant and convenient location and met our needs for an overnight stay.”

”Excellent location easy check in”

”Great stay, lovely, clean and cosy. Staff very helpful and friendly Napier fantastic and owner provided us with a list of tried and tested eateries which we used, thank you. Recommendation to Te Mara peak also fab Location great, right on the beach”

”Comfortable bed. Very nice location near the sea.”

”Very nice room with a separate room for queen size bed and twin bed in different room. Kitchen was wonderful with plates, cutlery, cups and glasses etc. There was a stove top hot plate, fridge etc. Very nice set up. Grocery store and many restaurants nearby.”

”Clean, cold room in the shade..”

”Avoid the front studio rooms, noisy and close to the road.”

”It is a modern functional building in a low-rise mall. Rooms are well-furnished and appointed. The hotel outsources all F&B including breakfast to local businesses. Quite unusual, but it works pretty well as they are all next door The front desk staff could not have been more helpful with winery, restaurant and transport advice and bookings.”

”Very clean, perfect location.”

”Beautiful view from the room, along with proximity to the walkway along the beach, cafes, and the village made this a memorable visit.”

”Large family room obviously dated, heaters were difficult to operate and the power for them went out during the evening, was a bit of an operation to get it back on as onsite manager had no idea what to do Close to parkrun and wineries so location is good, very basic facilities”

”The room was clean and well stocked we needed extra towels and they were happy to provide. The spa bath was great in the bathroom so nice a quiet for others to watch TV in the other room. Room was quite spacious could have done with a 2 setter couch. Overall was a nice place to stay.”
