”We stayed four nights at Meeting Street Inn. The staff is friendly and the hotel is very clean. Be aware that it’s an old building and it’s an inn, not a hotel. You will not find a lot of amenities here. But you get a quiet stay, in a charming, historic Charleston Single-style building at a reasonable price. ”The Emeline Hotel is very unique. We got upgraded to a one bedroom suite which was a wonderful surprise. They have a great coffee place inside and a small shopping area - big bar and sitting area outside. There sister hotel is the Ryder - so they give you drink tokens and you can get a free drink and sit near the pool if you wish. They did not charge us for valet parking -- which was super cool something to do with our status but yet The Ryder Hotel DID CHARGE 55.-- for parking plus resort...

”You need not look further. This Drury Plaza is the best for this price range in the area. Staff helpfulness and great, friendly attitude and willing to go the extra mile is on par with top hotels at 4-5 times the price. Pool is secluded with nice covered porch on one side and trees all along the other. The extras ie happy hour from 4-8 with 3 drinks per person per day along with popcorn and light snack fare is unheard of. Kitchen open til midnight, full breakfast buffet, drink machines open...

”We loved our stay at the King's Courtyard Inn. The staff were kind and helpful. Wine and cheese hour, sherry afterwards, and the breakfast were all great little plus ones. Our room was cozy and the whole Inn was really cozy with it's small courtyards and fountains. The locations is fantastic! Step out the front door and you're on King Street. We never drove anywhere and walked to all of our meals. We'll be back!”
