”I had the pleasure of staying at the Mystic River Resort in Early June and the whole experience has made me fall in love with Belize. The property is immaculately maintained and incredibly clean, my room was upgraded free of charge which included a plunge pool on the balcony which definitely added to the experience !. ”My treehouse room haven was exactly as I remember and I LOVE the large open windows to the property to listen to the wind, dozens of tropical birds, howler monkeys and the powerful thunderstorms of the Mayan Mountains. The bed and bedding are cozy and if you’re picky with your coffee… bring your own pour over for the room!!! The staff is exceptional and always available to meet any need. ”This is such a beautiful property that really immerses you in the nature of San Ignacio. Rose cooked fresh breakfast everyday that was absolutely delicious, and her and her husband were super kind. I also rented a car from Rod, who was also super nice, so I had such a smooth experience getting from place to place. ”When we arrived we were met by Leo who was our contact for the entire stay. He was our bartender, waiter, and tour guide. Leo made our vacation memorable, he went above and beyond. The resort was beautiful and all the employees where friendly and did everything to make sure we were comfortable and happy. When we go back to San Ignacio we will be staying at this resort again. The food was amazing.”

”Cassia Hill was a great choice for our trip in Belize. The staff was super kind and helpful. They helped us plan excursions and arrange transportation for the airport. The location and hotel itself were great as well. It was clean and a beautiful property. Definitely would recommend staying at Cassia Hill if you’re going to San Ignacio.”

”The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was great. The property's jungle setting and landscaping made me feel like I was in a jungle. And while not a nightly occurrence, having howler monkeys howling the first evening really set the tone to remind me I wasn't in California. ”This was a neat place to stay. I wish I would’ve had more time to play golf. Our room was ok. There were a ton of ants and gecko’s in our room which is to be expected building anything in a warm climate. The only complaint, which was not the fault of the resort was the power went out and our room became absolutely stifling. There were no cross windows to open and no fan on a back up power source or even a battery fan in case of emergency which would’ve helped considerably. Overall our stay was...
