”My Wife and I took a long weekend up to the sandstone sanctuary, we appreciated having no TV and enjoying the peaceful sounds of the woods surrounding us with the occasional Frank Sinatra song on the bluetooth record player. The house was super cozy and had everything you need for cooking and most importantly relaxing. Justine was super friendly and made sure we knew she was only a phone call away! Loved this place and wish we could give a million stars! Will be visiting again!”

”House was great, clean, beautiful location and very thoughtful. you can hear the sound of moving water when outside on the amazon deck. The communication was great. No dishwasher but on vacation and not cooking much. Loved our stay there wish we could have stayed longer ”

”Outstanding beds, great place for a peaceful, relaxing space just outside of State College. Will be on our list for future visits as it was a great place for peace, quiet, and rest in the woods! Wonderful communication and a great experience. ”

”Excellent place to relax! Everything was lovely, perfect and simple! Only thing i'd suggest is putting a mirror up in the small A frame cottages and the ability to control the oscillating fan. Definitely will be back!! ”

”I planned on spending my birthday in happy valley and searched all over for a place, then I found Lakewood cottage. I talked it over with the other couple that came with and it was an easy yes for the 4 of us. The place wasn’t far from the stadium and easy to get to. It was clean and tidy and overall an amazing stay for the weekend. We would definitely stay here again.”

”Great property, great stay at a very nice cottage. We visited for the weekend for Penn State’s homecoming. Close to the stadium, easy access to I-99 and plenty of food options w/in 3 miles. Two bedrooms w/king size beds and a couch w/a trundle. Very comfortable w/TV, patio, firepit, and charcoal grill. The worse part of the weekend was the non-stop rain on game day.”

”Beautiful quaint cabin 15 minutes from Penn State. The hosts are the nicest people. Stayed for the weekend so we could go to the game. Was the perfect place to stay. There’s so much family history in that cabin, was glad we could stay there. ”
