”We highly recommend at least one night in Hana so that you can take in more of the sights along the Hana Highway and visit Haleakala National Park via the Kipahulu entrance. This "treetop oasis" was a wonderful place to stay! Comfortable and well-appointed, we loved the breeze flowing through the unit by leaving the sliding glass doors open. Being greeted by bird song and the sound of waves crashing in the morning was amazing! ”

”The unit is as advertised, with no exceptions, so no need to repeat that. Very nice. No problems. Host Joanne was great. This might be the nicest unit in the complex, being corner and ground floor, and the complex is also really nice. Great views, with one small caveat: there’s a hedge on the right side of the property that obstructs some of the view to the west. The sun rises directly over Haleakala crater in the morning, as viewed from the condo patio. Saw hundreds, maybe thousands of whales...

"An older property that seems to have aged gracefully. We asked for a quiet room and were given one at the end of the hallway, and I think this was a lifesaver. There’s no noise cancellation of any kind and had we been closer to the elevators, it would have been impossible for js (admittedly rough sleepers) to sleep. But as it was, we slept great, listening to the sounds of the waves. The beach is great (much much better than some more expensive resorts), and having sunbeds on the grassy yard was cozy. "
