”Location is lovely, free parking on site, modern rooms but dusty. Loved they had kids pool, my child enjoyed it. Receptionist on arrival did not inform me of amenities, breakfast times etc. I had to ask. I’ve never been to any hotel that hasn’t done this so very disappointing with a hotel of this level. I should have listened to the reviews about breakfast! Many of us had to keep asking for things such as sausages, bread, juice etc. staying with a child and having to wait 15 mins for food to...

”Lovely grounds and building. The staff, especially Shabila, were welcoming. Shabila is relentless in ensuring that everything is satisfactory. We stayed on a Sunday and so it wasn’t busy and there was a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. We had a good price for the room, so it was excellent value for money. The only suggestion would be to look at the heating in the Pear Tree rooms. It was very hot. ”

”The room was spacius and clean but the shower controls need attention. We enquired about dinner as we were going to the theatee. We were not informed that the hotel offered pre theatre early dinners and so ate elsewhere.
Very good breakfast with plenty of choice.”
