”Parking was at a premium. If renting a car, good luck finding a place to park it. The property had an "old" smell upon entering. There was no empty storage for our things for a multi-day stay. We were also bitten many times by some insect, most likely in bed.”

”This is a 3 bedroom tri- level house in the projects of Washington. The garage smelled of rotten garbage that was stacked in front of the door. We had to move stuff out of garage to even get the car in. The walls were scratched up. The kitchen chairs were covered in dirty material. There were no curtains on windows. The patio furniture had mold all over it. The hot tub was empty, lying on the ground. The landscaping looked like no one lived there. The 3 bedrooms, not 4, are located on the third...

”This rental space is well-maintained with an upgraded bathroom and a luxuriously large bed for sleeping. I did not try out the sleeper sofas but they appeared to be in fine condition. There is a small hotel-size fridge and microwave, with basic utensils for travelers who plan to eat most meals elsewhere, or microwave meals. Do pay attention to the details of additional expenses. The base advertised cost doesn't cover cleaning and parking fees,”

”Absolutely gorgeous setting! We spent every morning (and most evenings) in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the water. The house is impeccable and updated. Initially we felt far from everything but found quaint waterfront restaurants and shops in a Deale and Galesville. Jays Latin food and Corner Grille were great spots too! We will definitely be back!”

”Our family had the best time in Alexandria and DC proper with The George as our homebase. Beds were very comfortable, living space and linens were all fresh and clean. The property is very close to a Safeway grocery store and with all the amenities The George offered we could easily prepare meals. The creative decor in shades of blue and coral, and special attention to detail all around the home, namely the hand painted mural in the living room, treated us all to an exceptional patriotic, DC...

”We were overall very pleased with our stay. It got pretty warm in the upstairs rooms, but there were fans and a portable air conditioner to help cool it down. Not much as far as dressers to unpack or for comfortable seating to lounge but we made do and would definitely stay here again. We appreciate the opportunity to stay in this home and felt very safe and secure.”
