”This is a magical cottage. It exceeded our expectation on charm, grounds, and convenience to downtown Middleburg. Tim, our host, was very accessible and thought of all of our needs. My husband and I will definitely be back but if you want a wonderful, historic experience with all of the modern amenities, look no further. Absolutely beautiful!”

”With bedrooms and sitting rooms on 3 floors, our 3-generation family enjoyed having space to gather together as well as space for time apart. The decks allowed for additional places to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Lake access was great for swimming and kayaking.”

”We enjoyed our stay and certainly return. Our group was 2 couples and 2 children.Everyone had enough space to be comfortable. The view is beautiful so we enjoyed our time at the house. While in the area, we visited Skyline Caverns and the Shenandoah River. I did have a challenging time getting Door Dash to the house. After 30 minutes of seeing the driver in the neighborhood we got in the car to track down the driver. Her cell service was poor so we were unable to communicate. If I ordered...

”Was a great stayRoad getting there is tricky but luckily we had a four wheel drive Never could figure out how to turn on the ceiling fan in the living room We will be back….great memories were made there I proposed and she said “Yes!!””

”This is a great place to stay if you enjoy the outdoors, a great view and peace & quiet. The hot tub, deck and fire-pit all have incredible views and are a great way to spend an evening or start your day. All of these areas are well shaded by trees which make them even better during a hot summer day. The home is managed by a rental agency so there are more procedures and processes involved with checking in/out than other places we have stayed, but overall things were smooth.”
