”Overall we Would recommend the pub Staff were very helpful and friendly Breakfast was excellent with good choices There were some timing issues on our first night dining in the restaurant . The area around the pub is picturesque and easy driving distance to Chichester and the coast”

”Nice bed and mattress, large room with nice furniture, and the included breakfast had a nice selection and was pretty tasty. Staff sorted early check in to let me change for a wedding, no issues. Free parking.”

”We had a gorgeous stay at Bridge Cottage, such a welcome pitstop if you're walking the South Downs Way or visiting the local area. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, Miranda is a wonderful host and the location is perfect to enjoy some of the local pubs. We'd highly recommend and will be back! ”

”Yes the write up may say that the venue is open late and has music but our whole room was vibrating from the said musicians til gone 3am. Then the noise of people and staff leaving. I think we managed just a couple of hrs sleep before a LONG drive home. Yes they give you ear plugs but they don’t help at all.”

”Nice little B&B close to centre of the village and running trails. Lucie sent the access codes to the front door and room making the check-in a breeze. It was a bit chilly during the first night (central heating off at night), but Lucie provided a portable radiator and extra blanket, so the 2nd night was warm and cosy. Very clean room and comfy bed. Also the breakfast was great. ”

”An excellent breakfast, but the croissants appeared to be taken out of a freezer and not cooked! The staff thought that was how they should be put out to eat.. Quite a mystery... Otherwise everything else was fine and we will stay again.”

”Like the name tells, George and Dragon is an inn, not a fancy shining hotel, but it is a very cosy and nice place to stay for a couple of nights. The rooms are tidy and located in a separate building apart from the pub in the backyard, so the pub activities did not disturb our good night sleeps. There's a selection of traditional English style breakfast choices available in the morning which guarantee the calories for the rest of the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful! ”

”Beautiful rooms, beautiful grounds, staff was extremely friendly. Only downside was the service at all the meals was extremely disappointing. Unattententive, forgetful, and had to ask for drinks, food items, etc. 2 or 3 times on multiple occasions.”
