”Best hotel in Boston without question! The staff are exceptional, very friendly and attentive. The masseuses at the spa, especially (I believe her name was) Paula are very skilled and helpful with sore muscles and joints after traveling. La Padrona, Amar, and The Long Bar all have delicious food. I will definitely be back! ”

”This was the sixth time I stayed at the hotel. I first was given a room that had horrible noise. I took a video of the situation, went downstairs to the front desk and was given another room (they tried to have me wait for the technician first). the new room was ok, however, as a gold status I did not get upgraded for the second time I have stayed at the hotel.
The rooms are quite outdated, but understood they are in the process of renovating the rooms.

”Our plans had been to go to Fenway Park for baseball game. Walkable from here. Also walked to Beacon Hill and ate at Cheers bar. Mall and shopping close by. 7-11 across street.Great location in an old Victorian house”
”Paid 280$ for one night and didn't get a bathroom. The reservation page didn't say anywhere that there is a shared bathroom. Apparently the "bathroom down the hall" is not visible in other language versions. There was a loud ventilation machine just outside of the window. ”
”The room was clean and spacious, but got quite damp after showering, meaning that I had to leave the bathroom light and fan on for the whole day in order for the room to not feel damp when I got back in the evening. Service was great and the patio and common room downstairs where comfortable and a nice addition overall.”
”We enjoyed our stay at the Chester, the room was clean and decorated beautifully so it felt like a home rather than a hotel room. I’d highly recommend the restaurant right next door, Mida, but make a reservation. If you need quiet this isn’t the place for you as it’s near a busy intersection so there are frequent sirens and car noise but we got used to it and the positives definitely outweighed the negative! ”
