Very nice hotelroom, would definitely recommend!! Just our style and bathroom was specially beautiful and clean. Perfect service, nice and helpful. Will come again!

This hotel is not suitable for elderly people. It is interesting to see that even thought a restaurant is run out of the facilities they do not provide guests with an option to have breakfast in the restaurant space. Our room had a terrace, but it was not easy to have breakfast in the small table in the terrace or inside since there is hardly any space to set up things. Unfortunately, there was no lift! Lastly, there is an awful smell that filters into the room, like rotten vegetables. I would not recommend to people with elderly guests.

Delightful little place in a great location. Beautiful large room with an almost luxurious bathroom. Nice in-room breakfast, with yoghurt, granola and fruit and nice people. I gave four and not five stars for the service because nobody was in site during the night and I was worried what could happen if I lost the keys. But it did not happen and I had a perfect stay

Das Team ist durch und durch sympathisch, freundlich und super hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war sehr liebevoll gestaltet, mit Sinn zum Detail. Man vermisst wirklich nichts! Kommen bestimmt wieder und dann mit Essen in der schönen Weinbar!

23122023: geboekt via Expedia, afgerekend in het hotel. Vriendelijk ontvangen en naar de kamer begeleid. Klein maar fijn en van alle gemakken voorzien. Ontbijt stond al voorbereid op de kamer (dienblad met crackers, zoet beleg, in de koelkast yoghurt met fruit en jus d'orange) Hotel in een gezellige winkelstraat van het Museum kwartier. Het winkelhart op loopafstand. Parkeren in de parkeergarage Vaartsche Rijn.

We loved Utretch and Hotel Zies
We flew into Amsterdam and getting the train (@35 minutes) to Utretch was very easy - get off one stop past Utretch central station for easy walk to Hotel Zies - after long flight, etc... it was very nice to have the owner (Francis) meet us in his wine bar and let us know that our room was ready early - we followed his recommendations for restaurants and all were great - (Keek just down the street was incredible for coffee, breakfast, lunch, just a great place to get the day started or return to later) As for the hotel and room nice and very clean - we had a room with a balcony and really enjoyed that - hotel is in the middle of so many good shops and restaurants and bars and the walking trail along the canal is just steps from hotel door. We loved it and will definitely be back to Utretch and Hotel Zies.

Very nice room at the back of the wine bar and restaurant in the heart of a super charming part of Utrecht. Surprisingly quiet, given the location. Definitely would stay there again.

A truly unique space. With a wine bar on the basement, all hotel rooms are wine themed, with great attention to detail. The room is very clean, spacious and comfortable. Comes with a huge modern bathroom and an amazing balcony. The check-in experience was great, too, since the staff went out of their way to explain everything and make me feel at home. Would certainly come back for another stay.

Great peaceful very well equipped room.
Fantastic little gem of a place to stay. Nice people. Spacious, in a busy section of Utrecht but very quiet as the rooms are in the back secluded. Walking distance to everything. Room perfectly stacked with breakfast, coffee and all amenities.

The property was really nice and the location great. Very close to the city center, but the area had a more neighborhood feel. Plenty of cafes/restaurants within 100 meters (including inside the hotel itself).

Ungewöhnliches, kleines Hotel in der südlichen Innenstadt von Utrecht. Leider keine 24h-Rezeption, aber dank Schlüssel kommt man immer ins Hotel. Frühstück findet auf dem Zimmer statt, aber erstaunlich gut. Wenn man für sich in Ruhe frühstücken will, dann ist das Hotel eine Empfehlung wert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer sehr sauber. Nur der kleine Hocker am Klapptisch ist auf Dauer recht unbequem. Aber zum kurzen Frühstück reicht es. Das Badezimmer ist super und die Regenschauerdusche ist ein Traum.

A fabulous small boutique hotel. There are lots of lovely features in this refurbished old building and the attention to detail is outstanding. It's only a 5 minute walk to the hotel from Tram stop Vaartsche Rijn, one stop from Utrecht Central Station. Twijnstraat is full of independent shops and restaurants and it's a lovely walk into the city centre along the canal. The bedroom was very comfortable with lots of lovely additional free extras such as a Nespresso coffee machine. Highly recommended.

A lovely Boutique hotel
A lovely boutique hotel in a great location. Rooms although small were very comfortable, coffee maker, tea and fresh fruit presented everyday and a well stocked fridge with beer, wine, champagne and more, a lot better offering than most 4 star hotels !

Kleinschalig hotel op een uitstekende locatie gelegen van de binnenstad. Het is ongeveer 10-15 minuten lopen. De kamer is netjes, compact en compleet! Heerlijk een balkon erbij met een zitje. Ook erg vriendelijk personeel. Ik kan het iedereen aanbevelen.

Loved my room
I absolutely loved my room. The most beautiful room I evrmer stayed in and in my favorite area in Utrecht. The bed is super comfortable and I loves the free Nespresso coffee. I will defo come back.

This is a comfortable small hotel, 20min walk from the station along the canal. The room was tidy and the bed comfortable. Excellent shower. My only criticism is that the door to the shower and toilet is see-through, so sitting on the toilet is not very private. Nice bonus is the good-size outside balcony. It is very quiet.
