”Hotels.com with the hotel have some payment issue. When I check in the hotel front desk staff said that i need to pay for this trip, however, I already fully paid when i booked the hotel. After check and clarified she confirmed already received my payment. And I called to Hotel.com the staff request me to pay again for the hotel and refund my previous payment with Hotel.com due to some payment issue between Hotel.com and the Hotel. But is it the issue of customer why i have to do that. Also...

”Very helpful staff and lovely clean room. The shower head was not the cleanest. You must disinfect a shower at least every quarter and log results (legislative). More often if required. Breakfast could have been more flexible with regards to choice and would have preferred not to have paid extra for certain foods. Overall a lovely stay however.”

”I know Matlock Bath well and have stayed locally a couple of times. I’d seen High Tor but never considered it. I know regret this as it was really rather good. The room was well-appointed with all mod cons including a fab shower in the en-suite. We dined out but probably should have eaten in as the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Access was easy and the parking more than adequate. ”

”Lovely place, service was authentic and very friendly. Would have helped to have parking instructions beforehand, but they handled it perfectly as well at the location. Breakfast was good and the location was convenient for exploring the Peak district.”
