”The staff were lovely but when you check in they do the up sell. A suggestion is send it out a few days earlier so you can make a good selection instead of when you are tired and just want to go to your room. We put laundry in at 6:30 pm and got a phone call at 1:36 in the morning asking if we got our laundry, hot happy. Had a shower and the drain was blocked and flooded the bathroom and passage. On checkout check your bill carefully as the accounting is not very good. They tried to charge us...

”Laika is a lovely place. I wanted something decidedly local that would please an international traveler as well, and that’s exactly what I found. A spacious and tasteful room, a huge and comfortable bed, lovely authentic Indian breakfast, all necessary amenities, everything super tidy, clean and well maintained. Gracious and attentive service, and a large round breakfast table that invites you to chat with other guests. Absolutely recommended.”
