”I booked my stay at serene resort online, approximately 4-5 days in advance, using an online travel company. I called approximately one hour before arriving at the hotel for my scheduled stay and the manager told me he canceled my reservation. The manager had very limited Ability to communicate in English. I arrived to the resort only to discover the manager refused to rent me a room and said he canceled my reservation. He then sent me to another hotel where I had to pay for a room. The next...

”Directions to the property are a mess. Get directions to the square and walk from there. Otherwise it will confuse the driver. It’s right on the square so that’s worth it if you want to be right there and look over it all from the rooftop.”

”Great location and friendly staff. Would recommend!”

”I have had the pleasure of staying at Shambaling Boutique Hotel many times, and each visit solidifies my decision to return. This hotel consistently delivers a first-class experience in care and hospitality, they truly know how to treat their guests well. The restaurant at Shambaling offers a fantastic variety of tasty options. While everything I've tried has been delicious, my personal favorites are the incredible Chicken Chilli and the satisfying Himalayan Mutton Thali . The dining experience...

Although the building is in a traditional and atmospheric style, it has been very well renovated and maintained. The breakfast, featuring homemade bread, was excellent in both quality and...

”Location in the beautiful and peacefull forest near the Kathmandu and its international airport is excelent. The service is almost excelent too. The spa was very good and the food in the hotel was very good too. You can play golf, or take a guide to the forest and see deers and monkeys a lot, or just go to relaxing spa. Our room was very big and nice, but the view was dissappoinment: a very big grey balcony, where were not even a single chair to sit. In the hotel it was little hard to find to...

”Location is right next to Durbar Square. Staff and service were great.”

”The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Felt safe and loved the view. Everything about our room and service was great. Thank you. ”
