”Our one night stay was way too short! We should have booked the hotel for our whole trip, it was very nice and staff (owner's son) was extremely helpful with everything and made us feel more welcomed than we never felt before in any other hotel. The hotel is very special, not fancy but so cute. 10/10 overall.”

”Ik vond het vrij uniek, dat er bij aankomst. De eigenaar er netjes was, zoals afgesproken. Er ook er een fles water pakjes drinken en koffie en thee aanwezig waren. Plus afwasmiddel en een schuursponsje. Ik kon dus gelijk wat drinken, en hoefden niet gelijk naar de winkel. De ligging is super mooi, en midden in het oude centrum. Kortom een aanrader, en dat voor die prijs. Kortom geweldig.”
”We had a wonderful 5-night stay at Savus. Check-in was seamless with a warm welcome and refreshing lemonade, the bed was very comfortable, and water was replenished daily. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of variety and made-to-order eggs. The hotel has an elevator in the back (so no need to worry about stairs with luggage), and the location is unbeatable—right across from the marina, steps to the beach, and walking distance to old town shops and restaurants.

”This was my favorite boutique hotel, and hotel in general, I've ever stayed in. It's like a little oasis in heaven when you turn off of busy Old Town Rethymno. It's quiet, beautiful, lovely rooms, the courtyard and pool are wonderful. The breakfast is five star perfect. And while we were there, 3 kitten made the courtyard their home. Which made the holiday even more perfect. I'm hoping we will return one day. ”

The hotel was apparently "new," and the renovations were still somewhat unfinished. There was a smell of paint in the air, and the terrace fence looked new.
