”I truly enjoyed my stay. The room was spaceous and bed very comfy. There is free tea and popcorn and the terrace is a nice bonus. Breakfast was also good. Staff is very friendly and eager to help the guests. The B&B is about 5 min walk away from shops and restaurants. Altough it's Down/uphill. There is a corner shop and a soda few steps away, but I didn't try them. 4 star hotel for me. ”

”This property is exactly what we needed. Clean, practical and a central point for our excursions. The staff was extremely helpful. Our original room had some noise issues and we were promptly accommodated and given alternative accommodation. The breakfast was substantial and of great quality. There is a supermarket opposite the hotel which is very useful as the hotel does not offer lunch or dinner. A bit noisy at times but that is taken care of by the owners who provide ear plugs in every room....

”This place is luxury in paradise. The setup with 3 bedrooms, open kitchen/living, and all the touches is amazing. The waterfall in the living room was an awesome touch, my 7 year old son loved it! The yard is well kept and great to play and hang during the little off time we alotted in Monteverde. The location is also awesome, with the night tour in Wildlife Refuge Monteverde being one of our trip highlights. It's a five minute walk from the house and a must do! My family with 3 kids would...

”This property right in town was gated and secluded making it an oasis amid the busy town. Upon check-in, we were given several fantastic restaurant recommendations and some other must dos.
The property itself was absolutely stunning with walking trails, and our cabin was perfectly set up with a kitchen.
My only suggestion would be to update the linens, they were dated and scratchy.”

”We had an amazing stay and truly enjoyed every moment here. The location is beautiful and surrounded by nature: one of our highlights was watching a family of toucans right in the tree near our accommodation. It made the whole experience feel very special and unforgettable.
The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious every morning, fresh and lovingly prepared. The room was clean, comfortable, and we felt very relaxed during our time...

”Hotel Belmar is a food and drink destination as well as being well located for enjoying all Monteverde has to offer. The staff present honest enthusiasm for all the hotel has to offer, and are welcoming and helpful. They can easily arrange taxis for you to any of the local sights (as uber doesn’t operate here). The restaurant is fantastic as well as the craft brewery and their fermented fruit wines. This was one of my favourite experiences ever.”
