The staff is friendly, the rooms are modern and clean, lit well, amenities are great, and the neighborhood is one of La Paz's fanciest. In the hotel you are a brief walk from the teleferico spur that takes you into La Paz proper, though you could hang out nearby in coffee shops or maybe go get a nice dinner at Gustu, just a few minutes away.”

Bolivia is my 36. country that I did visit which one means hundreds of hotel overnights in every class of hotels but I had some first time experience in that hotel. I came to hotel at 7.30 after 12 hours of bus trip and I did ask for early check-in. My room was ready but they did ask 30 $ for 3.30 hours early check-in. Friendly and attentive staff too and Remo and team helped organise tours and watched all the football and food at the bar. Highly recommended and stayed here for nearly a month.”

”I had a room on the top floor with the best view of the city and mountains. The room was spotless. All staff are very courteous and helpful throughout my stay even calling transportation to the airport. The restaurant has excellent food and atmosphere, very chic. Also, the location is very central within the city. Easy access to public and private transportation. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting La Paz. ”

”We enjoyed our stay at the Mitru Express. Our room was spacious and clean with comfortable bed. The bathroom had a huge bathtub which we enjoyed. The view from our room on the 7th floor was fabulous. We had a fridge as well. The only downside to this hotel is the restaurant on the 8th floor. Breakfast was fine but dinner was a hassel. The menu had no prices and you had to scan a QR code to get them. Even then the codes were different with different prices and the food on the printed menu...
