”We stayed here for a stop on our 2 week California Coast road trip. It was our favorite stay of the trip. Clean, updated, comfortable. Beautiful setting! The hotel host Alyssa was friendly and helpful. Made us feel very welcome! Breakfast was nice with fresh bakery goods, fruit, oatmeal, granola, etc. I would love to stay here again and highly recommend!”

”We stayed in the Cypress Cottage. It was very quiet and comfortable. You could see the ocean from the window and the kitchen was stocked with all you need for cooking. They supplied coffee, tea and a complimentary bottle of wine. The carpet needed to be removed due to age in the eating area, stained. Upon entry the cabin smelled of dogs from the past. We had to air it out. We were not particularly bothered by this being a dog owner ourselves but not what we wanted to smell on a getaway...

”Beautiful property. The staff were so friendly and absolutely amazing! They provided outstanding hospitality with a personal touch! My fiancé and I absolutely loved the amenities- our favorite thing might have been relaxing each night in front of the fireplace in our room after a soak in the hot tub. Also, the donkeys were very cute 😁”

”The owner was very friendly. The room was basic, bathroom had some issues, and the steps into the front door were the "mind your footing" steep. Without looking at the room prior to booking, I expected a bit more available amenities, for the price I paid. Regardless of the l cons, it was quiet, comfortable and very much appreciated. ”This is my fav mendo trip spot. Beautiful views, rooms were large, nice deck, comfortable bedding, the fireplace soaking tube is amazing, the room is stocked with everything you need even a fan and ear plugs if you dont enjoy the foghorn but we did. Its definitely an older place but they stay on top of repairs. Easy parking, great lobby. We didnt partake in the grab and go breakfast but the area looked nice. Honestly loved it.”

”We got a nice big room overlooking the harbor. We also had a small gas stove that we used to dry some wet clothes, so that was handy. It was nice having a separate sink and shower/toilet area. (That area of the room could use some updating.) Quiet and restful for the night we stayed. Would have liked to have a breakfast option. The room lighting was also a bit dark. The fridge was also very loud and was not turned on when we arrived, so we had to wait for it to cool down. Overall pleased with...

”This place is good for the price and would stay here again since it was clean and rooms look updated. The outside noise can be a bit annoying in the middle of the night. As for the free breakfast, it was a joke. I’m not expecting anything fancy but when all you have is stale bread with no butter/jelly anything to spread on it and cereal and no milk, you might as well just say free Coffee and OJ and I’d be okay with that.”
