”The downstairs was hot when we were there, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay. It was clean. The bar area was excellent. Plenty of seating for the bar/breakfast. The pool looked great. I didn’t use it. However, I used the gym. Very well maintained. The rooms were awesome. The fridge, kitchenette and the couch, made the room feel homey. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. It was just me and my husband with another couple. I didn’t see any kids at this hotel.”

The front desk staff were very nice and quick in getting me checked in. The room was big and the bed was comfy, however, the water pressure in the shower left things to be desired, as well as not enough lighting in the bathroom and rest of the room. The hotel is in a great location for walking to events uptown, but this also means lots of noise. On Saturday night and into Sunday morning, there was intensely loud drag racing that I could hear clearly, even on the 11th floor. ”I like its location - very close to the highway and ethnic restaurants such as Curry Gate II for Indian and Nepalese food. It's also very close to the Tyvola Lynx (light rail) station, where you can park your car for free and ride the train to downtown Charlotte for $2.20. Best of all, this place is very close to the Billy Graham Library, which is a must-see for Christians and non-Christians alike.”
