”It rains quite often, so there is always water in the waterfalls, which are quite magnificent. You can handfeed toucans and hummingbirds in the park. In the hotel room's balcony there is a hummingbird feeder so that you can watch them very close. The tour to volcano Poas was a disappointment. The staff advised us to reserve the tour on a previous day, when you have no idea about the weather in the mountain. We didn't see anything there.”

”Perfect base for visiting the Poas Volcano and other sights in the area. From the hotel you can see the volcano so no guessing the weather and it's just a short ride to the national park. The hotel and rooms are modern and cozy, nice sofas with small fireplace to enjoy in the lobby area. Good restaurant.”

”Staff was friendly and responsive. The location was hard to find in the dark. There was heated mattress pads and a heater for warmth the night we were there. The facilities and property looked beautiful, we were not there long enough to to enjoy.”
