Hotel was very deasently priced; below average I think. Personnel was more than friendly and we felt warmly welcome from the first minute. Lobby bar deserves a special mention; surroundings and service could make you forget the modern times in a good way! When booking the hotel, would recommend to think it as a kind of historical place. Taking that in to the consideration, it was a really good deal! Rooms have seen some time passing and the glorious days of the garden are in the past. Pool was described to be good in the travel book, but would rather just state that "there is a pool".. (Families with children seemed to be ok with it though!) Room was generally clean, but we noticed some bug; not sure what it was, nothing that would bite you and not cockroach either. anyway; do not leave your luggage open in order not to collect any additional passengers to your own home! Hotel seemed to be very popular with families having small children. No wonder; rooms and public spaces were large, location was peacefull and surrounded with a large forestry park. View to the lake is beautiful, hotel is on top of the hill and when opening the shades from the room; gorgeously overlooking the lake and town!! Would recommend this hotel only if you are travelling with your own car. And if and when you have a car; there is plenty of free space to park it. Breakfast had very basic things, I don't think you should pay extra for it, but it is good that it's available.
