Small hotel with tons of character
Really helpful and friendly staff who give usefull tips on sights, transportation and restaurants. Had the suite with Private balcony and it was just Super. Loved to sit out on the balcony with a glass of wine watching people pass bye on the canal below. The decor of the room is Super interesting with a style that's often associated with Venice. Loved it! The location is a bit outside of the worst tourist crowds, but still on a walking distance from Piazza di Roma and train station. Even the vaporetto stops are close bye. Breakfast ok served on the ground floor. Whenever in Venice again would definitely stay here again!

Hotellin sänky oli hieman kova, mutta kyllä siinä kuitenkin hyvät unet sai. Ilmastointi ei ollut mitään huippuluokkaan. Se kyllä toimi, mutta alkoi viilentää huonetta vasta aamuyön tunteina.

Rauhallinen, hyvä sijainti, jatkoimme junalla matkaa Pohjois-Italiaan. Olimme myöhässä, emme ehtineet jatkolennolle Münchenissä. Sähköpostilla saimme yhteyden hotelliin ja siellä odotettiin meidän saapumistamme. Hotellissa ei muuten yöllä päivystystä. Saimme avaimen sivuoveen, että pääsimme seuraavana iltana myöhemmin sisään. Henkilökunta oli ystävällinen.

Great location, great breakfast, nice and spacious room and bathroom. About a 10 minute walk to the train station and 15 minute walk to the bus station. Tip: If you don’t want to spend too much money on the water taxi, there is an express bus that takes off from the bus station that takes you to both airports for 10 euros per person. The only negative was the stiff mattress, it felt like the box spring rather than the mattress but other than that it was a very pleasant stay.

This property looks quite dated from the outside but it’s lovely. We stayed in the Junior Suite with a balcony and it was glorious for one night. The hotel is situated in a lovely area of Venice. We’ve stayed in other places near the Rialto Bridge and San Marco and much prefer this area of town. Lovely restaurants, walkable. Would definitely recommend.

We booked early and got the best room [2.1] with that stunning balcony as shown in their picture. Very, very helpful staff. Very good breakfast in the morning. Would book again.

Superb!
Superb. Lovely big room (no. 3) with a city view i.e. onto adjoining property, very clean, comfy bed and pillows. Very powerful shower with lots of hot water. Usual continental style breakfast with fresh rolls and croissants, meats, cheeses, fresh fruit and yoghurts. Very friendly staff throughout. Will definitely return on our next trip to Venice.

A lovely little hotel walkable from the station on a main canal. The location is away from the crowds, but walkable to all the sites. Nice breakfast and charming room overlooking the canal. We loved it.

It was really close to all of the things on our to do list. The only thing I did not like seeing was that there was mold on the shower head who looked really black and needed to be cleaned.

Interesting hotel. Furniture made it feel like an old Victorian home. Our room also had a separate entrance from the street which was unique. The it conditioner didn’t keep the room as cold as I would have preferred, but it was adequate. And more pillows would be ideal. The room was a little dusty and could have been a bit cleaner, but overall it was comfortable. We loved the location - a short and easy walk from the train stations, which you will want especially if you have luggage. The areas is off the beaten path enough that it is quieter and less crowded, but still a short walk to the tourist attractions you would want to see. It is also located near some great restaurants. It was perfect for my husband and I to stay 2 nights. We would stay here again.

Hermosa vista, buena ubicacion
La vista de la habitacion es impagable. Disfrutamos mucho pasar el tiempo sentados en el balcon mirando el canal, tenia miedo que la habitacion no sea como se ve en la foto pero es aun mas lindo en persona. El personal del hotel fue muy amable, la habitacion cuenta con cargadores por usb lo cual se aprecia viniendo de otro continente, y la ubicacion hace que sea viable ir caminando desde la estacion de trenes y no haga falta tomarse una lancha como en algunos otros. La verdad que somos una pareja joven asi que no nos molesto ir caminando a todos los puntos turisticos desde el hotel

Wonderful, typical Venetian night
Our stay was wonderful, albeit short. The room was cute and the decor was antique. I told my daughter that I felt as though I was visiting my rich grandmother (I don’t have one of those!). Although large by Venetian standards, all rooms are small and the tub is more designed for baths, not showers. The balcony gave a beautiful view of the canal and if you left the balcony doors open, a truly magical breeze fills the room. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The location is just a short walk from the train station so pulling luggage wasn’t a problem.

This was a very nice hotel, 8 minute walk from the train station. The hotel was in an area that was not so crowded, and there were three or four quaint places to eat that were not surrounded by thousands of people walking around you. My son and I went about 50 meters away and watched the sunset from the island’s point, it was gorgeous. The price was several hundred less than other hotels, worth it. The beds are very firm.

Charming hotel
We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. The location, in the Canareggio area, is wonderful--it's one of the few parts of Venice that feels like an area where real people live, and because the Canareggio canal and other smaller ones in the area have wide sidewalks on either side, it's also a great area to dine canal-side. The breakfast was out of this world--definitely recommend--and we really appreciated our three person room with unique furniture and a clean modern bathroom.
