Romanttiset hotellit - Venice Lido, Venetsia

”We wondered about staying on a different island than the main part of Venice but we are so glad we did. It was less expensive for sure, but mostly we are glad because of the Villa and the atmosphere in the area. The place is in a quiet area but with plenty of restaurants and bars in easy walking distance. Villa Casanova provided clear directions on how to take a water bus to the island and it was a short walk from there. The room was wonderful and the staff and breakfast were great, too.”

”+very nice location, building, garden and room. Spacious bathroom and big bed. Delicious breakfast - free parking promised in the reservation : when we arrived we were advised to take the car further away and look for free parking areas in town. Then second day they managed to find us a space in the another properties yard across the street. So it is not exactly free easy parking on site as I thought it would be. May be my mistake. ”

”Olimme perhematkalla heinäkuun helteiden aikana Venetsiassa, ja majoitumme tänne. Kokonaisuus oli positiivinen yllätys, ja voimme suositella majoituspaikkaa muillekin. Huoneisto oli todella tilava, yleiset tilat siistit ja toimivat, ja allasalue oli viihtyisä ja siisti. Myös aamiainen oli monipuolinen, eli sekin puoli oli kunnossa! Myös hotellin lähialue oli oikein rauhallista ja siistiä seutua, joten lasten kanssa liikkuessa kaikki sujui mutkattomasti.”

”The old school style is nice and the staff is supernice. Sustainable this place is not, no recycling. Also the private boat taxi price is a rip off and there is no shuttle to the airport. I asked for upgrade, as a gold member I did not get it even if the hotel was half empty. Room service fee 15€, room service coke 12€. Rip off. ”
