From an ancient door, a few steps from the central square, you will have access to a two-room apartment consisting of 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower and a living room with sofa bed and open kitchen. The apartment, which can accommodate up to 4 guests ( recommended for 2 adults and 2 children), has been carefully renovated and retains its star-shaped ceilings and original floors. In some periods of the year, when the rest of the house is unoccupied, you can use the external courtyardThis apartment was created from a single large house, renovated without altering the history of the building, maintaining its ancient flavor. You enter from the shared courtyard into the living room with open kitchen, equipped with 4 gas burners, undercounter refrigerator and washing machine. In the living room, in addition to a table for 4 people, there is a sofa bed which, if necessary, can be used as 2 single beds or joined to form a double bed. The bathroom has a shower and in addition to the double bedroom there is a wardrobe space for storing clothes. The 2 rooms, although overlooking a street, are quiet, as the street is little frequented and the windows are new with double glazing. Air conditioners are in both rooms.The apartment is accessed from a courtyard, partly covered and partly uncovered, which also overlooks the entrance and windows of another apartment. The use of the courtyard is therefore permitted only when the other apartment is empty, so as to respect the privacy of the guests. In the future it will be possible to use the terrace to sunbathe and eat meals, but at the moment we don't know when this will be possible.We love our house and we have renovated it with care and the town of Vernole is rich in history and located in a strategic position to visit the most beautiful places in Salento. You will find some of our items in the house, because we love to spend some time there during the holidaysIn some periods of the year I will be present with pleasure to welcome you, but not always because this is our holiday home. Sometimes I will be replaced for check-ins by a friend or you will find the access keys to the house in a safe box next to the door. However, I will always be reachable by phone for any needs and advice.
