Street parking with resident pass was easy to find and safe. Room was clean, charming and well appointed. Guest laundry, guest kitchen, lovely sitting room. Close to everything. 20 minute walk to downtown with shops and restaurants along the way. Would recommend for a quiet getaway.

Amethyst Inn at Regents Park
Great historic old mansion. Nice staff, great breakfast and overall a nice staff. Only quibble is the noise from the next room. They were enjoying life

Fairmont Empress
The Empress Hotel was truly a lovely hotel experience. We enjoyed afternoon tea in the lounge and really enjoyed a cocktail in the new bar area. Our room was lovely as was the service. Highly recommend

Overall the perfect stay. The breakfast room can be very crowded. Microwave in room would have been appreciated for our take-out dinners or leftovers. Real cream provided somewhere for the coffee in room would have been nice too. Just one front desk person was not friendly at check-in or helpful ...
