”For sure once real luxury but now fairly out-of-date. A/C was not even trying to help, elevator was not functioning during the whole busy eastern weekend. Breakfast was a battle for the last toast :) Beautiful building though and the piccolos were professional and helpful. But no value for the money, unfortunately. Stay somewhere else and pay separately for the infinity pool if that is what you appreciate. The view is of course spectacular <3”

”The hotel and staff were great from the very first time we entered. Gian Paolo at the reception was all smiles from arrival to departure! Since arriving to Santa Margherita we knew we wanted to stay there longer than planned and Gian Paolo made some arrangements to make that happen for us. ”The staff at this property was amazing!! We travelled with our son and his family of 5. Children ranging 7mths to 4 years old. Antonio the waiter and Luigina the maître d’ went above and beyond to ensure that the children ate what they wanted (not on menu) and were so helpful throughout our stay. Avoid, worst hotel experience
"Most likely worst hotel experience. During check in the reception forgot to scan the passport and we had to deliver 2 times in the middle of the night passport. The guy had extremely bad attitude. I asked what is his name and he refused to tell me. After I asked is that the service that should be in 5 star hotel. He blaned that they were understaffed and no apology. Room was in different building and the alley seriously looked very poor. Other cons: No free water, Room was dirty (not like it bothered but worth a mention as the overal experience was bad) Alot of hidden fees, if the called a taxi they charges 35€ by just calling. Friend ordered double portion lasagne from room service total 66€ from normal big portion. The 5 star is a joke, avoid"
