”There was no staff available at all, or no food for the evening of my stay. They had used such strong cleaners or fragrances in the room that I had to sleep with the window open, yet still had a migraine attack during the night and morning. This put my meetings the next day in jeopardy. Beautiful grounds, but unfortunately the absolute lack of staff, guidance etc left me feeling incredibly unsecure. ”

”Our host at Au Fer à Cheval was Romain, a friendly and helpful man. He owns about 20 English thoroughbred race horses, as well as breeds them. His farm is in a beautiful location with lovely views. It was unfortunately cold and wet for the two nights that we were there, so we couldn't use the pool, and the roads were too slippery for him to take us out in his horse-drawn carriage, but we did see two of his retired racing mares with their foals. ”Un séjour très agréable avec notre chienne. Le chalet est très bien pensé avec une bonne literie, une douche spacieuse et un coin cuisine. Nous avons même réussi, malgré la saison, a profité du barbecue et de la terrasse. Nous avons pu faire de belles promenades dans la campagne et la forêt et avons découvert de jolis villages. Encore merci à Fred pour son accueil et ce partage.”

”Pour ce prix la, c'est un peu dommage qu'il n'y a pas le petit déjeuner y compris. Et on a pas eu le droit d'aller dans la piscine avant 10h le matin. Donc pas de piscine ni le petit déjeuner pour 90€.”

”Property was clean and tidy. Very nice situation in the countryside near a forest. Had a fantastic break. Great little pool and loverly hot tub made hot days and evenings very relaxing and great fun. Beautiful cottage in loverly gardens with everything on hand for a fantastic getaway. We used as a base and travelled to Tours,, Le Mans. Alençon and other local spots. The host Bruno was great and could not be more helpful if he tried which made our break all the more relaxing as we new he was on...
