I am not one to complain but the room was absolutely filthy.
First, the door was cracked open.
Upon entering the room it was apparent that someone had been in there.
The lights were on, the TV was on, the trash can had garbage in it, there was garbage on the floor, weed residue on the dresser, dirty and wet towels on the table and the bed was disheveled as if someone had been laying on the bed.
The room also reeked of smoke.
Upon seeing this, I went back to the office to address the concerns and the front desk representative stated that because it was late if I could go back to the room and that she would clean the room first thing in the morning.
I did not stay the night, left and went elsewhere.
The following morning I went to return the key and ask for a refund as I was checking out early. The woman said I had to request a refund from the booking agency.
So, I contacted Expedia who contacted the White Marlin Inn who denied the refund.
Absolutely disgusting place!!!
