”Perfectly located in town. Easy self checkin. Comfortable and clean. We had a great stay.”

”Our stay was most enjoyable. Accomodations were great. Coffee 24/7! Our hosts were friendly. The downtown location allowed us access to a grocery store, eateries, souvenirs, etc. We will return.”

”Location was excellent, room was clean and spacious, food was delicious both dinner in the restaurant and complimentary breakfast. I would definitely return if in the area.”

”The mattress on the bed was excellent, though the pillows could be better. The interior spaces were full of a huge array of fine antiques. The exterior spaces are under construction or in need of maintenance. Breakfast was a true Southern experience and a good fit if you are planning to bike the Virginia Creeper. The bathrooms are shared among the guests with the exception of the Honeymoon Suite, which is huge. The estate is minutes from the trail and the outfitters who support bikers and...

”Nice”

”Good value for the price, but it's right next to the highway so the noise was awful. I expected them to have some noise mitigation measures in place, but there were none.”

”Good clean room for the stay.”

”Pretty good value”

”The room was very clean and quiet. My only problem was I wish people would understand handicap people's needs. My mom couldn't take a shower because was not handicap accessible. And only king rooms have walk in showers. My mom travels with my husband and I and we are not all sleeping together.”

”The staff was wonderful. Perfect location. Clean”

”Kelly of the housekeeping staff really went above and beyond in helping us find a stepstool solution so my wife could get back up into our truck. Kelly also helped get her wheelchair into the room. Otherwise, our Accessible room was very clean, but didn't have a single USB outlet -- understandable with an older facility, but disappointing. The breakfast was pretty minimal (no fruit, the few pastries were somewhat stale, etc.), we had to find the coffee and make a new pot (staff nowhere to be...

”There was rat poop in between our bedsheets. The tub was dirty, like if someone just got out of the tub and left it they tried to give us another room. The adjoining door would not lock, but they thought that they could put a chair in front of the door to hold it shut. People are living in the hotel one couple said that they were in between places to live so they were staying there for a while. It was absolutely disgusting. The outside looked abandoned. The whole experience at this hotel was the...

”Spend a little more and upgrade quality. This was an extended state facility with no dishes/utensils/cups in the room. On the day of checkout, the elevator did not work. The “grab and go” breakfast is nothing but a few sugary/high fructose corn syrup processed wheat flour packaged snacks. Shady looking characters lurking around the back side of property smoking pot. The Front Desk employees were very cordial. I felt sorry that they had to deal with a low quality property.”
