”Don’t have high expectations as we did with booking a deluxe room, the room was in desperate need of an upgrade, I believe some rooms on the property were being renovated but ours looked nothing like the room on the photos. Not one coat hanger provided, an iron but no ironing board, bedding was supposed to be superior but the bed pillows smelled of stale sweat although clean pillow cases, found hair in bed, shower is either very hot or very cold couldn’t get it in between without it going off...

”Fridge door didn’t want to stay closed. A spider was dropping down on its web in front of our door. Place was dated and room was dark. The horseshoe-style toilet seat was uncomfortable.”

”Nothing special about the place. Not many restaurants nearby. The hotel and property was very quiet. Which was good if you were wanting a restful stay.”

”The cabin is cute, but the property beside it looks down on the cabin so not much privacy or a view. There's no dishwasher, oven, or even a hair dryer here. When it rains the water turns rusty, thus is not drinkable and they don't leave bottled water for you or offer to help with that so that limits showers, toilets turned rusty, couldn't make coffee etc. The property was a little overgrown when we arrived as well. But a person came while we were there and cut the grass.”

”The bed rooms were clean, as were the bathrooms. The hosts were kind and responsive. However, the 1/2 bath smelled like urine. Additionally, it was extremely noisy. The dog barked & you could hear every movement they made upstairs. The beds were also very creaky and it was drafty. ”

”This place is great! Exactly how it’s described and designed for a quick stay! Perfect for Hatfield n McCoy trail riders! We stayed after our overnight investigation at The old Williamson Hospital! Loved it! ”
