”Hotel was overall really great. The location was good, room and overall public spaces were clean and staff was really friendly. My only two complaints would be about the sounds and the bathroom. The room didn't isolate sound that well so we could hear noises from outside very clearly and loudly. The bathroom layout was a bit weird, because it wasn't completely its own room. We had to do some workarounds to not have to change in front of each other, because the shower was basically an open space....

”The apartment itself was excellent - very comfortable with lots of space. Location was great with some excellent restaurants nearby. A place called Do Belo was our favourite and within 5 minutes walk.
Staff were brilliant, but the check in process was a bit complicated as we arrived after 8pm. We had to go to the sister hotel to pick up our room keys before going to the hotel itself. It was only about 7 minutes walk between the two locations, but after a long journey to the Netherlands I'd have...

”For this type of hotel/category, there's a number of things that need improving:
1) Check-in: firstly, the hotel charges a €50-75 charge for an early check-in. This seems excessive and out in line with hotels in far more cosmopolitan cities. It's a small hotel, so room turnover etc should be more manageable.
Secondly, the check-in desk is too small and ill-positioned so that when you do everyone have suddenly checking in at once, it forms a line with people not really having anywhere to...

”This is the second time I was staying in this pleasant little hotel. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. This time, we were especially pleased that the hotel is pet friendly as we brought our little Jackrussell with us. Also, the staff’s situation awareness in fixing us a late check-out was remarkable. The fact that they don’t serve breakfast didn’t bother us as there are great bakeries and hipsters cafes nearby. ”
