The property was extremely small and within 15 minutes I had a headache and asthma. We could not stay here and had to move to another hotel.

Fantastic setting to explore Cornwall. Lovely food served in restaurant in evenings. Reviews of uncomfortable beds were not bourne out and was very comfortable. Only thing that lets it down is the breakfast in the B&B. For 2 days out of 3 continental breakfast in room not restocked, including milk so couldnt even have hot drink. Rather to have a reduced rate for bed only than promise something not delivered

A room above the A389 was not the quietest, but it settled down as the night progressed. A lovely little tavern and town, quite convenient to Pendennis. Good food, too. Would stay again.

We enjoyed this break away from big hotels in our comfortable, cozy room above the pub with its great service and delicious food. This tiny village was picturesque and near our destination of Port Isaac. The owners and staff were friendly and granted our every request.

Perfect stay, room simple but everything you need, bed was very comfortable. Staff were amazing, couldnt fault them. Would definitely stay there again.

pub was good staff very helpful. food very good. but room we stayed in was not to good, very clean but bed was worn out and some hooks on back of doors would help to hang coats etc, a mirror on the wall would be a great help.

Quite an unusual place. It is a old pub with several rooms upstairs. We arrived just after the owner arrived late afternoon. We were shown to the room # 1 and it was very cold and unwelcoming. Plugged in the little portable heater which did not provide much warmth. The bed was probably the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in and seriously needs to be replaced as it is like sleeping in a hammock. The place does not appear to have any fire exits do would be a fire trap. Staff were fine. If there are no other places available you could consider staying here but don't expect a great night's sleep.

check in was supposed to be from 3.pm there was nobody there until 4pm there was also no food available on the tues night. Despite that the staff were very good and we enjoyed a meal on the wed night. the only negative was the bed was very uncomfortable it had been mentioned before by others.

Home from home
We had a great time. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. Nothing was too much trouble. Food is second to none. If you like big portions, this is for you. Great friendly atmosphere. We will visit again.

Nice but unusual
Friendly, comfortable, but a couple of unusual things - the bathroom was across the corridor and the inclusive breakfast was a diy continental breakfast in your room.

Friendly village pub
Lovely one night stay at this nice friendly village pub. We ate dinner in the pub the night we stayed and found the menu had a good selection of traditional pub meals. Our meals were delicious, especially the steak and ale pie. The room was beautifully clean, fresh and well presented, as was the bathroom. The bed was comfy, despite initially feeling quite bouncy! Breakfast was a continental one left in the room. Plenty of choice including pastries, cereals, cheese, crackers, yoghurt, fruit, juice and a delightful array of hot drink sachets. One tiny criticism was that the shower was a bit "weak". However, we felt we got excellent value for money and would stay again.

The Ring O Bells is a typical classic traditional pub with accommodation, it’s not a Hotel. However, the landlord/s & staff were amazing and made our group feel very welcome including the extras that came later….for drinks and food, they went above and beyond during our two night stay….thoroughly enjoyed our stay, BIG thank you to the Ring O Bells….outstanding

Great service and value
On arrival, we were slightly disappointed with the outside appearance of the pub, but once inside, it was clear that it is work in progress. The bar area was cozy and clean and the room was obviously recently refurbished to a decent standard. In all it was a decent stay, in a good location, and good value for money.
