The Bluecat Bungalow at Milford Lake

Have fun with the whole family at the newly remodeled Bluecat Bungalow! You will love the close proximity to all kinds of amenities including: boat ramp (less than 2 min drive), library, disc golf course, multiple parks/playgrounds, baseball diamonds, city pool, liquor store, and more! An extra wide street with TONS of parking out front and a large gravel parking area behind the house with exterior outlets at both for charging capabilities.
The space
Covered front porch with rocking chairs for a wonderfully relaxing spot for morning coffee or a great sunset. King sized memory foam bed upstairs, queen sized hybrid bed in the downstairs bedroom, 4 twin beds and a full sized bed in the bunkroom, perfect for fun family sleepovers! Large upstairs bathroom with full tub/shower. Downstairs bathroom has toilet and vanity only. Full size washing machine and dryer available for use as well. Mid-century modern dining room set come with an optional leaf to accommodate the whole family! Large kitchen with pantry storage for all your food and goodies. Coffee maker with Keurig capabilities, toaster, air fryer, microwave, full range and stove. Must be 25 to rent!!

Milford Lake trip

This is a cute, beachy themed cottage. Lots of room for family of all ages. Nice getaway and only minutes from the lake where we had a family gathering. We appreciated the added touches (coffee! etc) to make our visit more homelike.

Not really a 3 bed 2 bath

I could write a book! To summarize NOT a 3 bed 1 bath is actually 1 bedroom 1 bathroom. Plenty of bugs. Vent that you fall into in kitchen. Stairs that are slanted. Midnight neighbor parties complete with trucks doing doughnuts until they breakdown. The updates in the house are all partially finished. The front street can’t be used for any sort of parking the neighbors call the one town cop until he comes to harass you. This was absolutely the worst VRBO I’ve ever stayed at. I’ll never be back to this town even. They’re so not want people coming to visit.

Charming!

We stayed two nights at this property following a KSU football game. The home and the town of Wakefield were a delight. Our boys are Freshman at KSU and were able to come spend a few hours with us on Saturday. The home has been updated and was really well done with fun "lake" decor. The lake/boat ramp are just a few blocks away. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch each morning and even the neighbors were friendly. Would highly recommend!

Family trip to celebrate graduation at K-State

This is a wonderful and very peaceful spot to spend on the lake and enjoy all that Wakefield and the lake has to offer. The house itself has a turn of the 19th century classic beauty and the community was quiet. We also loved how close it was to Manhattan to enjoy the graduation ceremony. Thank you Nate and family!!

Family weekend getaway

Very nice property, clean and well appointed. Virtually everything you need is there, just need your cloths and shaving kit. Owner always answered questions promptly. The only thing I would add is a grill brush and creamer/sugar for the coffee.

Nice quiet neighborhood. The house was tastefully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of kitchen utensils and items to cook with. AC worked well. Nice rain shower head in bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay!

Fishing trip

The house is very clean everything you need. it was really nice. location is great you're not that far from the lake. the owners were great to deal with and there's enough parking in the back for a truck and boat maybe even two trucks and boats I highly recommend this house and I will be returning
