”The only issue we had was there was no one to check us in, The contact numbers we had no one answered. We actually felt like we were trespassing. After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home. Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :)”

”Room very old fashioned and had seen better days. Could do with refurbishing.”

”The staff was great and it’s a beautiful venue, unfortunately there was no AC, food at breakfast ran out, the noise level from dogs, other guest and parties was intolerable. Lastly, the spa sauna was broken and the hot tub as well.”

”We booked a superior double room, which is in theaon building. It was very tatty and in need of painting and updating. Very dated with a lack of plugs near the bed, none near the dressing table to plug in the hairdryer. One usb port. Dirty window dressings. A really old, dirty and damaged devine base. Breakfast was ok at best, not much choice and the mini chocolate muffins were dry or stale. The coffee was absolutely dreadful. The hash browns were oily and also not crisp because they had sweated...

”The breakfast was the only redeeming thing about our stay. Rooms were old a musty smelling, the carpets were so old and stained and wrinkled in places. The bottled water in the rooms were reused bottles that they top up. ”

”Clean and spacious rooms. Very spacious bathroom and large comfortable bed. Pool and gym facilities are very good. Current refurbishment under way but we were not disrobed over the weekend. Great location for Sheffield and the arena”

”Was disappointed as I booked with Expedia, expecting to be able to use the facilities at the hotel. On checking in, I enquired about the facilities and was informed that if I had booked directly with the hotel, I would have been able to use the pool and gym and get breakfast included. To use the gym and pool, I would have to pay extra.”
