The house has no central air, but the 3 window units kept it cool enough, though it necessitated the use of a fan to keep the bathroom floor from getting slick when weather was very humid outside. The host, Claudia was very nice and always communicates promptly.”

”Two of our children actually got sick on our trip so we spent a lot of time in the house. Such a charming living space with antiques, and a lovely old world feel. It’s a cozy little getaway that makes you feel like it’s a home away from home.The owner was very kind and prompt with replies.We have family nearby and look forward to booking again on our next trip. ”

”This cozy little cottage at pilot Mountain is by far amazing. It was perfectly situated to be able to see the mountain. The mountain is literally in the backyard. It was an amazing backdrop that I took wonderful pictures the cottage house everything that you will need for your stay Very easy to maneuver through. It was perfectly located to get to Mount Airy to visit Mayberry and just about a 15 minute drive from Winston-Salem. There is a brand new Walmart. That’s really close by the property was...

”The only negative thing I can say is that we didn’t get to stay longer. This cabin is so adorable and clean! The decor was perfect and the cabin is nestled snug on a hill surrounded by beautiful trees! If you walk a short distance from the driveway you will see breathtaking views. The host’s communication and suggestions for places to eat/do was amazing! I would definitely stay here again! ”
