”I have to say I waa really surprised at how nice this place was. The only issue for me (being a bigger bloke) was i couldn't fit in the shower as it only has a s.mall opening but I was able to get around .”

”A very nice B&B in a peaceful location and a pub is just a walking distance away! There is a court yard within the compound where one can relax. We enjoyed our one night stay here and enjoyed our full English breakfast. Thank you.”

”Looks great from the outside but tired in the inside. My room was quirky which was fine but the furniture and the bathroom in particular was very dated and could have done with some tlc. The food was ok - bar snacks - but seemed to be very random opening and closing times in the evening. Stunning grounds and location which partly made up for the underwhelming interior.”

”What a lovely hotel! This kind of hotels is the reason we love to visit UK; they are unique, beautifully decorated and the service is wonderful! The room was tiny but beautiful and it had everything we needed. It was very quiet and warm. The breakfast was very good and the dinner at the pub was excellent. We would love to go back!”

”Charming pub with rooms in the courtyard. Each one had parking outside. Very spacious room with comfortable bed, smart tv and tea & coffee making facilities. Good size en suite with great shower. Towels provided along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was made to order along with continental options. Staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. ”

”The room was clean, good size with everything you need. Dog friendly rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Restaurant was excellent with good food, reasonably priced so we had breakfast, lunch and an evening meal there. Very popular but still really quiet at night. Definitely stay again. Being really picky, there was some superficial updates needed. The TV was basic and small. No plug sockets by the bed. Personally I did not like having my towels folded up and placed back in the bathroom....

”This is a great value for money budget hotel and was ideal for a one night stopover. The room is small, but has enough room to hang a few clothes, place a small bag and has a small desk and chair to work from. It was modern and clean with a comfy bed and TV. Unfortunately the screen cast feature wasn't working on the TV, but otherwise the USB charging points and several sockets were great.Air con was very effective on a warm night. ”pub is now closed but rooms still availble, you would need to go to another pub which is a 2 mins drive or 20 min walk for dinner. Lovely owner, very friendly.”

”Nice clean room, good shower and beds. It's such good value and basic which is all I needed as was at the BTCC at Donginton Park all day. Nice selection of beers in the bar and friendly staff. This is my second time using this hotel and will use again in the future.”
