”Nicely decorated room but it smelled so musty and upon checking in our room, we found hair on the bathroom counter. It was remedied immediately. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the performing arts center. Street parking is free.”

”This hotel was like stepping into the past! It at one time was VERY GRAND and currently is now located in a very depressed area of Topeka. The State Capitol! It was very sad and depressing to see the current situation of this hotel. The breakfast buffet in the morning inside the atrium was lovely and attended by staff. No problems encountered except sadness for the current condition of this area likely due to economics.”

”This property was a small, converted apt bldg. Lsrger and more comfy than most hotel suites, balcony, full kitchen with laundry, and two tv's...much like home. Well done. Nothing glitzy, super fancy, but clean and very comfy...everything in good working order. A little noisy outside, but I slept soundly, so not too intrusive...0would stay there again. Perfect for extended stays”

”I just needed a simple place to stop and get some sleep, and this fit the bill. The registration staff were excellent—they were totally prepared for my arrival, and check-in was a breeze with zero issues. The bed was comfortable, and the AC was already cranking at a chilly 59 degrees when I walked in, which was great. ”The hotel was very nice, clean, and well-maintained overall. Our only complaint was the housekeeping service. On our first full day, our room was not serviced at all, the beds weren’t made, we didn’t receive fresh towels, the trash wasn’t emptied, and nothing was cleaned. Since our room didn’t have a phone, I had to go down to the front desk to ask about it. They explained that guests need to request housekeeping in advance because not everyone wants their room serviced. While I understand that...

”Great breakfast. Tables cleaned when vacated. Staff was welcoming. Lots of parking Only knock is the shower had a bit of pink mold around the shampoo dispensers like it hadn’t been sanitized in a while. Enjoyed our stay.”

”Expedia listed this property having free internet, but you had to become a Wyndom member or pay for WiFi use. The property was older, but clean and had a microwave, fridge (no freezer in the fridge which was inconvenient), TV, breakfast, one complimentary alcoholic drink per guest (unfortunately I left before breakfast and don’t drink, so I can’t comment on quality) coffee maker, The only dealing I had with the staff was the front desk and they were very pleasant and helpful.”
