”This is a basic, no-frills old property that has aged well. The rooms are plain, and nothing but coffee in the office for breakfast. I am a traveler who looks for a clean place to sleep and shower; the frills don't matter. This fits the bill for someone who would rather spend their money on other things than frills in a room they will sleep in and be gone from in 12 hours. In cities, cheap hotels attract an element to stay away from, but that type is not touring the back roads of West Virginia.”

”This place was magical! It’s history, the place is very well maintained and gorgeous. The staff is very nice. The food and amenities were top notch. We went as a family with 3 kids and we all had a great experience. The spa is a must and the local hot springs is wonderful….. I want to go back dinner than later”

”Loved the decorations in our studio.Pool was lovely,outside pool heated to perfect temp.Easy 5 minute ride to the village.Quiet area at this time of year.They do have a restaurant at Silver Creek but did not stay open late in day.”
