”Super cute cottage near a stream in a super quiet & remote area. It was the perfect cabin for our stay with our 2 teens & 2 dogs. Cabin was clean & as described. We hope to return in the future!”

”Our family and friends enjoyed a nice long weekend at the house. The house was great. Plenty of space for two families to spread out. We enjoyed the hot tub and the spacious patio. Our only suggestion would be to provide more information on the house for guests. (Trash pickup, info on the neighborhood, etc)”

”Such a sweet little place with great access to the town! Since a good portion of the Virginia Creeper Trail is closed right now we used the house as a jumping off point to a day of hiking near Boone and another day of exploring Cherokee National Forest. The fenced in backyard was great for our dog. We ate out for all meals because there were so many great options and didn’t use the kitchen much but it looked to be well appointed. WiFi was strong and the TVs were great. ”

”Excellent stay on top of the mountain with a beautiful view from the deck for miles and miles. This is a great spot if you want to be alone. It is important that you realize this house is on top of a mountain. It is NOT suited for someone in a wheelchair. The walk from the parking spot to the house is up a severe incline. If you want to go for a walk on the road, it is a very steep road. This is great if you want to be isolated and everyone in your party is fit enough to climb stairs. We stayed...

The reason I gave location 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is a house that is about 20 yards and shares the driveway. This was not evident in the photos at the time of my booking. This review speaks mostly about pet concerns because the home itself is sweet, well decorated, has comfortable seating, mattress, and a/c.
