”The chicken coop was just what we all needed while on our fishing trip. The inside has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable, the WiFi was great to keep the teens connected. The outside area is very relaxing and the covered porch was great as we had a lot of rain during our visit. The host were very responsive and all the extras they do for you is amazing. We look forward to our next stay there. ”

”We were very lucky to find this cottage so near to all we wanted to do for our week in April. We had some work to get done in the area, and our daughter attended a spring break day camp in the area for each day of the week. When we wanted to go out to eat, the area restaurants were excellent; but I was also able to cook (and grill) each night that we wanted to save money and stay in. ”Four of us celebrating having or soon to turn 40. House was amazing - I understand some of the comments about the steep hill down to the water, but that did not stop us (use the driveway, don't go down the grass!). Communication with the host was fantastic, the house was in great shape, and there are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. nearby. We all agreed it's one of the best houses that we've rented. ”

”A delightful place. Having the lake to ourselves with magnificent views plus a property that has plenty to keep everyone active--including the very active 4 year old in our group--was amazing. Do note that the downstairs bathroom has narrow doors so mobility impaired people may not be able to access it without assistance. ”

”We stayed for a birthday weekend with a few other couples and had a great time. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and each 'area' of the house is incredibly comfortable (especially the movie theater). If you need anything there are plenty of stores close by and the area is very safe. Overall, no complaints and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.”

”We were in town for a wedding and needed a spot close to the farm. This spot was a gem. Tucked away, quiet and clean - my husband, dog and I had a great stay. We were only able to stay for a night but I wish we could have stayed a bit longer. This is a really cute community with nice things to see and do. The host is amazing! We’re so grateful to her. ”

”Through the neighborhood at the end of the quiet road tucked behind other houses is this lovely, tidy, efficiently laid out, well equipped home. The placement on the lot is perfect making it easy to forget you're only a few minutes from in-town Poughkepsie. This was also one of the cleanest rentals we've ever stayed in.
