Merry Oaks tarjoaa mukavan rento kodin, josta voi nauttia Exmoorin kansallispuiston ja Länsi-Somersetin rannikon kauneudesta. Talo mahtuu helposti 9 vierasta neljään makuuhuoneeseen, joista toisessa on oma suihku sekä perheen kylpyhuone suihkulla porealtaan yli. Vuodesohva olohuoneessa tarjoaa kaksi ylimääräistä henkilöä. Huomaa, kuten useimmissa uup-yrityksissä, sänky on pieni parivuode. Suuri avoin keittiöravintola, josta on näkymät Quantockille ja Brendon Hillsille, avautuu yksinäiselle etelään päin olevalle patioalueelle, jossa on ulkokalusteet, bbq ja patiolämmitin. Oleskelutilassa on takka, jonka tukit toimitetaan kylmempää yötä varten. Kiinteistön lähellä sijaitsevat kävelytiet tarjoavat pääsyn ihanille kävelylle, josta on näkymät Bristolin kanavalle Walesiin tai paikalliselle Washford-joelle. Family holiday

A lovely quiet cottage, plenty of room for everyone, even our sons dog who decided to go for a walk on her own but was very kindly brought back by Janes husband. If you have a baby or toddler then you might want to consider bringing stair gates, bed guards etc with you. The pub at the bottom of the lane The White Horse serves good food and amazing Sunday lunch but you will need to book.

Amazing home from home in a beautiful location

Thank you for an amazing weekend in your beautiful house. The location is perfect, it’s quiet, has a great walk across the fields for the dogs with two nice pubs on the way. The house itself is really comfortable with loads to do, the hosts have made it really homely and it has everything you need. The beds are comfy and the whole place was very clean. The hot tub was great fun and easy to keep warm with the extra logs the hosts brought to us. We’d definitely stay again. Thank you!

Well appointed house in a beautiful location

We have a lovely stay at the end of August. The house is very comfortable and there was easily enough space for 8 of us and three dogs! The location is perfect for exploring the north Somerset coast and Exmoor, and having the hot tub to come home to each evening was an added bonus, and also the table tennis table, which we all enjoyed. Jane was very responsive if we had any queries and we were even able to check out late since no one else was coming that day. Would highly recommend for group holidays.

Beautiful location, fantastic stay

We came down for 3 days as part of a half term break with two kids, 2 and 4. The house is part of a Devonshire longhouse dating back over 400 years and is in an amazing part of the country. Wish we'd had longer to explore the trails across the coast and welcombe mouth beach. Will be back with kids when older Ulla is a great host and went out of her way to make us feel welcome, the property is really well stocked with extras like bathrobes and a cream tea in the fridge I wouldn't expect, and lots of info on local area and games for the kids. It is remote and down some proper rural green tunnel roads so just prepare for that and you'll be fine Great stay, sad to leave!

Family fun

What an amazing holiday. We were met by Jane on arrival and she explained everything we might need,showed us around and was on hand if we needed help with directions throughout our stay. Merry Oaks is a beautiful place. So much space and kitted out with everything for a hassle free holiday. All the children loved it being able to run around safely and use the hot tub. The weather was wonderful but there were cool places to sit and relax. Close to lots of attractions and only 15min drive from Minehead. Nobody wanted to leave and we all want to go back. Thank you again for a lovely holiday

Fabulous countryside retreat

We absolutely loved our stay here, a beautiful house with everything needed available, local pub and cider farm were excellent. We loved the addition of the hot tub and found the entire house was a great location for a group of us to go on holiday.

Great family home

Nice, private, quiet setting. Comfortable beds and nice linens. House was bright and comfortable—our home away from home. Our communication with Jane who runs the property was extremely easy and efficient. Not far from the attractions that we wanted to see—good base for us to do site seeing, yet far enough that we felt like we were in the country.

Amazing family vacation

Friendly and helpful right from the start. A fantastic property in beautiful peaceful countryside. Clean cosy and well appointed. Plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy the property. Hot tub was a lovely treat, and the table tennis kept us all fit. Brilliant selection of books and games. We'll definitely be back.

Even better than expected

What a wonderful 4 days we had! My friend described the house as, “a place filled with love.” Jane is a great hostess, supplying us with milk when I realised I forgot to bring some, and coming out at 11:00 in the evening to fix the fire alarm which decided it was time to run out of batteries. The location is beautiful and the pub and local cider farm are within easy walking distance. We had a wonderful time and would recommend a stay here.

2nd visit

Having stayed last year, it was a unanimous decision by all, to visit again. Property is well laid out, with all the amenities you need and plenty of room for the children to play. Location is quiet, but plenty of places to visit, depending upon your tastes. Local pub is a 5 minutes walk away.
