”We arrived and we're upgraded which was nice. The room was clean and modern. We wanted to use the spa and had to pay £10.00 per hour pp which wasn't expected. Then the steam room wasnt very hot so that was disappointing. This should of been mentioned before we booked. The breakfast was good. Not somewhere I would visit again in a hurry. Very pricey for what it is.”

”Friendly welcome. Characterful room with good quality tea tray. Great breakfast. Unfortunately the room was not overly clean and the bathroom in particular was tired, run down and felt grubby. Black and dirty sealant around the outside of shower. Broken tiles on floor, broken loo roll holder, grubby and badly marked walls and thick dust/grime on skirting. With a deep clean and a little maintenance this could be a great place to stay.”

”Room not that clean. Bathroom fan didn't work. Some mold on bathroom. Smoke alarm went off early in AM. False alarm. Overall property in disrepair. Staff disinterested. First time staying at a Premier Inn and probably my last. ”

”Our room was comfortable and clean and the staff was very friendly. Our stay at Mandolay was enjoyable. Guildford city centre and railway station are within walking distance.”

”Room felt very warm and, despite asking at Reception before we went out for the evening for it to be adjusted, it didn’t seem any cooler when we returned. Nice, smart hotel in convenient location but I did not feel comfortable with the security, or rather the lack of it. Rooms are accessible directly from the bar and restaurant areas with no need to show or swipe a room card to gain access. If I were travelling alone this would be a huge issue for me and would make me want to go elsewhere.”

”The hotel is an oasis of peace in a beautiful Surrey town. The staff were very helpful and the grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was excellent. However the room was not as luxurious as the photos had led us to expect. Also curry night needs to consider English tastes, the korma was so spicy I could not eat it, very disappointing. Overall I would recommend the hotel as the situation, grounds and staff were brilliant.”

”We've stayed at Worplesdon Place before and always enjoy it. As always, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was extremely comfortable. We stayed here the night before a family wedding and the manager kindly gave us a late check-out so that we had more time in the room to get ready.”

”Excellent stay for the night, at a really good price compared to what was locally available and which were inferior to Barnett Hill in overall value and quality. We checked in at 23:50 without problem, and although the signage could probably be a bit clearer in terms of arrows to especially at that time of night, we found the room eventually and it was clean and well prepared. Only downside was i couldn't work out if we had hand soap for the bathroom albeit it might have been in an amenity...
