”Breakfast only no evening meals at present.”

”Fresh breakfast, excellent staff! Good location on the edge of the town and lots of places to cycle to, including Puzzlewood which was the main reason for our stay. But there was a mechanical banging noise (like a shoe in a tumble dryer!) from 3.30am both nights we stayed that kept me awake. The whole experience was very 'meh' and we wouldn't recommend unless you are playing golf there.”

”Der Check in perAutomat war nicht möglich. Ich erhielt schon wieder keinen Check-in Code von Hotel.com. Glücklicherweise war jemand vor Ort, der uns im System fand und eincheckte. Zwar älterer Hotelkasten, aber tiptop renoviert. Unser Zimmer, da kurzfristig gebucht, war ein Zimmer für körperlich beeinträchtigte Menschen und daher komfortabel gross und barrierefrei. Mit dem Rollstuhl ist das Bett problemlos von allen Seiten her zugänglich. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, gross, das Bett ebenfalls...

”Great place to stay. Lovely country pub. Bit out of the way but ok. Staff very good food in bar excellent. The continental breakfast in the room a great addition. The room was large and clean with a comfy bed. Would stay again.”

”Rooms are clean and modern. The staff are nice, but seemed to be no staff there in the morning. Breakfast is continental which isn’t all that clear before booking. ”

”Note that this is on the north side of the motorway so when heading south we had to do a detour. And when we got to the place we were told that breakfast was back on the north side. And when we left in the morning there was no one around to ask how to get there if we drove as we didn't have much time. We had booked for two nights but only stayed for one.”

”This place wasn’t what we hoped for so we didn’t stay. The room was not as big as it seemed on photos, no room to put our suitcases out. Room was dated and doors opened out onto parking lot. Very dark, no lights outside and muddy from a water main break. To make matters worse, a policeman knocked on door to say there had been an armed robbery nearby and offender was seen nearby. Very scary and unnerving. We decided we couldn’t stay and found another hotel. Swan House were not willing to refund....

”Book the property primarily as a base for work - what a fantastic find. Parking for two vehicles, kitchen / diner immaculate, all well decorated and pristine. Every appliance , cutlery etc to hand , really warm and homely”
