”We went for a weekend with our cavapoo. TBH had little treat box, dog towel and little sleeping mat. We brought many of our own things but nice to make him feel welcomed. We had a great stay. The staff were incredibly helpful..walking routes, getting us a table for dinner. We had lovely drinks every evening at the bar with a very large fire and our dog with us. ”Like the name tells, George and Dragon is an inn, not a fancy shining hotel, but it is a very cosy and nice place to stay for a couple of nights. The rooms are tidy and located in a separate building apart from the pub in the backyard, so the pub activities did not disturb our good night sleeps. There's a selection of traditional English style breakfast choices available in the morning which guarantee the calories for the rest of the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful! ”

”Absolute amazing place to stay and the staff were so so friendly, always smiling, in a good mood and happy to help. The breakfast selection was brilliant from cereal to croissants to eggs benedict royale. Room was extremely clean on 1st inspection and was continued throughout the stay by the maids. Bar was awesome too. Dedicated parking too which was very helpful and not like other properties in area. We will definitely be staying here again 100%”
