”Beautiful location surrounded by stunning nature, with amazing rooms and a breakfast of a very high standard.
However, the grounds and overall maintenance do not reflect the level expected from a Relais & Châteaux or Michelin Key property. There were dry leaves and weeds throughout the territory, and several trees appeared infested or dying. For such a large estate, there should clearly be more gardeners and stronger attention to maintenance and cleanliness.

”I had a really lovely stay at Ocean Bliss by Sugar Co-living in Weligama. The property has a beautiful beachfront atmosphere with a calm, boho-style design that feels very different from a normal hotel. The rooms are clean, cozy, and nicely designed, with a relaxed coastal feeling.

”Our stay in the garden villa was really great. It was clean and spacious with a semi outdoor bathroom. The pool area was straight in front of the ocean so you could watch the waves from your sunbed. Surf board hire was cheap with a large range of boards. Drinks were cheap and food yummy.”

”Nice place but not worth the money. The 3 bedroom suite is below the rooftop to which the other guests have access, so they walk through your outdoor area to get up there. You do not get the whole villa, there are two bedrooms that are rented out as well as the suite. The staff are however very friendly and the breakfast was great, and location also very good, right on the beach. The villa needs a fresh coat of paint but is very beautiful, feels Moroccan! If the price was lower I would recommend...

”The stay here was great. Host very gracious. There are two separate bedrooms with double beds, a kitchen with a gas burner, refrigerator,dishes and pans, small dining room, patio with a day bed, washing machine. Bedrooms have a/c. Other rooms with ceiling fans.
WiFi worked well.
Host provided laundry detergent, shampoo, sun screen and mosquito repellent.
He also provided us with some great meals.
This is not high end, but my brother and I loved it. Would recommend to anyone wanting nice,...
