Suuri, kaunis erillinen 2 makuuhuoneen avoin suunnitelma "ylösalaisin" Navettamuunnos, joka on suunniteltu hyödyntämään sitä upeita näkymiä. Yksityisellä paikalla helpon matkan päässä Wellington Somersetin kaupungista, sillä on oma 1 hehtaarin suljettu turvallinen paddock. Pikku Owl-latoissa on runsaasti tilaa maastopyöräilyyn aidatulla pihalla ja turvallisella autotallissa. Pikku pöllölato sijaitsee ihanteellisella paikalla niille, jotka haluavat tutustua Somersettiin ja lähellä olevaan Devoniin. Lähellä on paljon maaseudun kävelyretkiä ja aktiviteetteja. Kiinteistö sijaitsee myös ihanteellisella lintujen tarkkailualueella. On paljon paikallisia nähtävyyksiä, kuten Sheppys Cider ja useita National Trust -ominaisuuksia. Pohjois- tai etelärannikolle pääsee myös noin. 30 minuuttia autolla. Dartmoorin ja Exmoorin kansallispuistot ovat myös lyhyen ajomatkan päässä. Exeterin kaupunki, sen katedraali ja erinomaiset valikoima kauppoja, ovat vierailun arvoisia ja vain lyhyen ajomatkan päässä. I am not going to go on about this beautifully sorted and quite lovely little place, as there are plenty of reviews that have already done just that. What I CAN add is that, rather than just 'doing what it takes', Philip & Sarah really have gone 'above & beyond'. There were all sorts of little touches that made our stay so much nicer, which so many other places do not do. Thank you!!!

Lovely house, extremely well-equipped, and with the most genial hosts you could wish for.We had two weeks at Little Owl Barn in July/August 25, and found it to be really comfortable, with everything you could need (in fact the most amount of kitchen equipment of any house we've rented), in a lovely setting. Very conveniently close to Wellington and Taunton, whilst still completely in the countryside.The hosts are fantastic: really friendly and approachable.We would totally recommend this place for a relaxing holiday in comfort.

Gorgeous Views and Tranquility

The property is just as described, spacious and quiet and beautiful. Views from the lounge are breathtaking and as it's summer we spent a good deal of time with the patio doors open and the dog coming in and out. The yard is extremely well fenced (our beagle always checks). The house was well-stocked, clean, and easy. We had ZERO issues or nitpicks. The wifi was excellent, the dishes clean and plentiful, the appliances all worked (including an excellent washer/dryer), even the toilet paper was good quality. Philip was truly helpful and responded quickly when I had a query about getting a delivery. You should also know the location is superb, too superb really as there are so many interesting things to do within a 90 minute drive area that you will not possibly be able to do them all unless perhaps you stay for a month or more. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it. Thank you to our hosts for such a magnificent trip.

A lovely rural oasis, quiet and peaceful. The two large fields were heaven for our dog to run around in at her leisure. Philip was very helpful about the property and the milk, tea and coffee on first arrival were very welcome. it's well situated for visits to the coast and the country.

What a find!

Quiet spot overlooking hills, super clean upside down living with everything you need and open plan lay out. Heating and hot water very responsive. Had 2 dogs with us who enjoyed the 2 large paddocks secured by hedge and fences. The charming host was keen to help with anything and we chatted to him over the paddock gate.

Have just had the perfect week in Little Owl Barn. Sunshine every day. Our 3 dogs loved the huge secure garden. Barn was very clean & had everything you needed. Coast only 45 mins away. Calm and spacious

The barn was spacious and comfortable. The two bathrooms were a big plus. The kitchen was well equipped. The outside area was lovely and our dog - had she come - would have loved it. The place is very calm and relaxing. Philip was very helpful and responsive when we needed support. The pillows in the master bedroom were rather flat. Intermittently, pressure in the shower was very low and/or the water was cold.

Lovely Stay at Little Owl Barn

This spacious converted barn was perfect for our stay. Larger than it looks in the photos. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery. The hosts provided tea, milk and coffee supplies upon approval which was appreciated before going to a bigger shop at the nearby grocery store. There was also salt and pepper. Plenty of soap and detergent too. The location is in a peaceful setting with lovely views. In additional to the large tv in the living room which includes a dvd player, there were smaller TVs in the bedrooms. We also enjoyed the board games. Hosts were helpful. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Beautiful barn that lived up to expectations.

Really super property with great facilities and excellent for dogs. We stayed over Christmas and had everything we needed in the kitchen for a full Christmas lunch! The barn is very comfortable cosy and warm the Christmas tree was a great touch along with the doggy gift! Our hosts were fantastic and answered all our pre visit questions very quickly and the recommendations for eating out were very good. We’d love to return when the weather is nicer to explore more.

Lovely place to stay - Little Owl Barn

The booking process was really easy and great communication from the owners before our arrival inc. great directions and nearby shops. The checking in process was easy and we were fortunate on this occasion to be able to enter the property earlier than originally planned. The property is as lovely as it looks on the pictures and all facilities that you need are provided. The outdoor space was certainly safe for my 2 dogs to run around and they loved it. The beds were incredibly comfortable also. There is plenty of space to sit at the kitchen table and eat or you can sit on the bench outside (weather permitting) and enjoy the views. There is ample room for all of your clothes, food and belongings and plenty of parking. The road in and out of the Little Owl Barn is a little hair-raising with some blind bends. We were able to visit Weymouth, Ilfracombe, Woolacoombe, Exeter and Exmouth within an hours drive of the Barn, but again some typical scary Devon country roads to contend with! The Barn has high ceilings upstairs which allows for lots of light to come in which is lovely. The bedrooms downstairs are cooler and darker allowing for a good nights sleep. Despite it being an old barn, there are no creaky floorboards or stairs and being quite remote it is very peaceful and tranquil. I would definitely recommend Little Owl Barn, great place, great hosts :-)

Upside Down getaway

Very clean and felt comfortable. Very peaceful with amazing views across fields to the Monument. Well equipped kitchen with more than enough for our needs. A little haven

We stayed here for a week from Easter Saturday. We had our 2 dogs with us that absolutely loved the garden and paddock to play in. The home was spacious,light, clean and very well equipped. We will definitely wish to return and recommend anyone to stay here.

Just us and the dogs

We have just spent a fabulous nine nights at Little Owl. March’s weather is always a bit hit and miss but we had a glorious day of sunshine on the beach in Sidmouth. Most days were spent with crisp but dry walks with the dogs in the locality. You have to see the zombie rams in a local farm, aesthetically challenged but very calm as we walked through their field with three dogs. A ten minute drive takes you to Culmstock Beacon and stunning panoramic views . Heddons mouth and Hunters Inn is just over an hour way, but well worth a visit. The house is beautiful, clean and well equipped, the huge garden and neighbouring secure paddock are a godsend. Our dogs are small terriers but were still unable to escape . I went riding about 45 mins away at Pine lodge , which was chilly but beautiful. Paul celebrated his 60th birthday during our stay and Phil and Sarah kindly left us a chilled bottle of Fizz in the fridge, which was very kind. We will come again .
