”My family had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The property was clean, well maintained and very welcoming from the moment we arrived. I was really impressed with our suite and how updated it was. Will definitely be back if we're in the area!”

”Unfortunately, this place was not what we were expecting. There were some things that prevented the apartment from receiving higher ratings. For example, no screens in the windows plus no AC meant we were hot the entire time. Also, the half bath has no fan, so when nature calls, you share it with the bedroom… especially with the barn doors. Finally, the pictures make it seem like the entire place is yours, but you are no one of four apartments in the home.”

”We were awakened in the middle of the night by someone trying to get into our room. I contacted the front desk who blew me off saying to go back to sleep, clearly guest going to wrong room. This is understandable but what happened next wasn’t. A few minutes later the room phone rang, the front desk demanded to know why we were still occupying the room after having checked out (which we hadn’t). I explained that we were still here on the second night of a two night stay but the clerk said that...

”I like the wooden style of this hotel. It feels warm to me! The room is very clean and housekeeping is very nice. There’s a small cafeteria and a nice restaurant/bar at the entrance. Parking is easy too. Recommend!”

”Check in was extremely slow. Each group ahead of us took 15 minutes each. We only booked this hotel due to it having a kitchen. The pictures include a 2 burner induction stove top. The room had cabinets and draws but not 1 utensil, pot, pan, plate, bowl or anything to cook or eat with. Was told but the front desk that this is because they have no way to sanitize. The listing for the hotel is very misleading. My 1 night stay should be refunded.”

”The Highliner is a modern hotel with only a housekeeping staff. The rooms and modern and comfortable. Its in a great downtown location. Don't miss the Fire Island Bakery one block down K street.”

”The beds and pillows were comfortable, but unfortunately, there was too much light getting in through the window. In Alaska the should curtains should be the blackout type with the amount of daylight they have.”
