”Lovely relaxing stay - great staff - one the nicest pub gardens we have seen (not for views but for thoughtful landscaping and making the best of limited space) Most of all great value!”

”We had a lovely weekend at The Red Lion. The staff were incredibly helpful both ahead of and during our stay, and the pub food and breakfasts were very tasty. Our room felt a little dated and in need of maintenance in places, especially in the bathroom, but it served its purpose for our stay and we would be happy to go again.”

”If you want straight lines and new, this is not for you but. If you’re like us and like a really lovely experience in an old coaching inn you’ll love it here. The staff are fantastic Robert the owner great guy. The breakfast is to die for. On a warm night sitting in the courtyard amongst the greenery and when the lights come on it’s magical. ”Lovely hotel however extremely hot in the room, although there was a fan in the room thus wasn’t powerful enough to cool the room. Breakfast was of good quality however extremely slow with just one member of staff working”

”Very clean and great staff. The breakfast was lovely. Nice to find out that the meat from the brasserie is all halal, which meant I had a steak on our second night. Also the ravioli dish was wonderful too. Loved the food. The spa facilities are fantastic and not busy. Other guests were perfectly pleasant, didn't experience any issues considering we were the only non-white couple there and my wife dresses modestly. ”Es war eine stilistisch eine wunderschöne alte klassische Unterkunft. Die Inneneinrichtung ist rustikal aber schön gehalten und passt zum Gesamtbild. Die Zimmer waren ordentlich und sauber. Das Grundstück ist riesig, worauf man noch einen kleinen Abendspaziergang machen kann. Das Frühstück war gut und es gibt genügend Auswahlmöglichkeiten. Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend.”

”The room was fairly big, clean and our children had their own beds which was good. The pool can only be used by over 16s which was the main reason we booked, but my fault for not checking. Breakfast was fine, but understaffed (just one person), our son was handed cutlery and told to make up our table which we thought was a bit unprofessional. While this wasn’t an expensive hotel, I still don’t think we got good value and wouldn’t stay again.”

”We had an amazing stay, gorgeous shepherds huts in a lovely location. So nice to have the pub nearby! We stayed during the heatwave and our hut was particularly hot, the staff were so nice to prepare another more shaded hut for us for our second night, we really appreciated the gesture! Highly recommend!”
