Majatalot – Welwyn

”Lovely dinner and staff. Breakfast is sent service continental style, so no cooked options which was a shame after the dinner. It's a 14th century pub, so lots of character and in a small village.”

”The room was large, bright and clean with the added bonus of a fan. Staff were polite and helpful. Evening meal was superb. If we are in Harpenden again we will definitely stay here again.”

”Great location and helpful staff”

”Great food and a convenient place to stop for the night”

”lovely little find. Room was lovely, beautifully decorated. Fridge and aircon which are invaluable when travelling with work. Room was a little small, the others looked larger so would book one of these next time. Only improvement would be remove the shower curtains and replace with glass, no one likes a shower curtain!!”

”Lovely modern room in restored old building. Staff were helpful, and both dinner and breakfast in the pub were great.”

”Great stay !!”

”Very convenient located for me”

”I would advise other travellers to be cautious, especially if arriving late or making a last-minute booking. I should also mention that I was told I would not be offered breakfast because I had booked last minute or arrived late. My experience with the reception staff made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. Regardless of the price paid for a room, every guest should be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not stay here again.”

”It was very good”

The property is in need of some updating and, overall, we found it looked tired, outdated and rather scruffy. Our bedroom had clearly been dusted and hoovered, and the bed itself was comfortable, but the furniture was very old and the room generally felt like it needed some investment. The bathroom was particularly disappointing, with black mould around the edges of the shower. The bedroom...

”Really convenient for what I needed courtyard style room straight onto the car park. Dog friendly with some great walks around the area. Super easy check-in key was in the door. Appreciated the fruit teas and coffees in the morning. We’ll stay again if I need to be in that area.”

”Mielestäni toimiva kokonaisuus, mikäli ei pelkää pientä tapettien repsotusta. Palvelu hyvää. Maittava monipuolinen muroaamupala (3 eri murovaihtoehtoa).”

”Great stay, lovely rooms and great food”
